Honor Magic V2 foldable smartphone is all set to launch at IFA 2023

The popular tech company from China Honor is all set to take the stage by storm at IFA 2023 in Berlin on September 1, 2023. The company is planning to launch the Honor Magic V2 foldable smartphone by the grand entrance in the global markets via IFA 2023. The phone keynote by the company has been spotted on China's 3C certification website. While the company official has not made any declaration about this foldable phone, we are waiting for it. On the flip side, the Honor Magic V2 has already spread its wings in China.

The discussion amongst tech enthusiasts suggests that Honor is in the mood to extend the horizon of its foldable smartphone lineup with this Honor Magic Vs 2. It is possible to spot more news regarding this smartphone by October which is only a month early. The phone was spotted on China's 3C certification website which carries the VCA-AN00 model number. Honor may become the first company that introduce outward folding phones. The leaked list suggests that it could carry 35W charging and 5G connectivity, adding to the conspiracy.

Let's rewind a bit Honor Magic V Slim has been caught on MIIT in China with a codenamed Victoria. But when the company launched that device in China they changed the name to Honor Magic Vs 2.

The Chinese variant features a 7.92-inch full-HD+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth operation. The display has 2,344 × 2,156 pixels of resolution, the display covers a 90.4 percent screen-to-body ratio which makes it more premium in look. As it is a foldable smartphone, there is one more external 6.43-inch full-HD+ LTPO display. Where it also has a 120Hz refresh rate with 2,376 × 1,060 pixels. The display has 2,500 nits of peak brightness.

The phone runs on Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 skin on top. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm coupled with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of inbuilt storage.
