iQoo Z8, iQoo Z8x with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth operation and gaming

iQoo has just unveiled the new iQoo Z8 and iQoo Z8x in China that runs on the latest Android 13 which carries OriginOS 3.0 skin on top. The iQoo Z8 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC chipset. On the other hand, iQoo Z8x comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The company features a dual rear camera setup in a big circular housing. The phone looks decent, compared to other brands under this pricing. The company tried to cover all the specs that other smartphones are bringing at this price.

iQoo Z8, iQoo Z8x price in India and colour options

Both the models come in three storage options first base iQoo Z8 model is 8GB + 256GB is priced at CNY 1,699 which comes to approximately Rs. 19,300, the second model is 12GB + 256GB is priced at CNY 1,799 in China which comes to approximately Rs. 20,500 in India and the third high-end model comes with 12GB + 512GB storage option at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 22,800 in India).

Whereas the iQoo Z8x which comes with an 8GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,299 in China which comes to Rs. 14,800 in India. The second model of 8GB + 256GB internal storage is priced at CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs. 16,000) and the 12GB + 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,100 in India).
You can pre-order these models in China the devices are available in Moon Porcelain White, Hoshino Ao (Blue), and Yaoye Black colour options, the company will start its sale on September 7.

iQoo Z8, iQoo Z8x specification and features

Both smartphones iQoo Z8 and iQoo Z8x feature a 6.64-inch IPS full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth operation and gaming. The display has 2400 x 1080 pixels of resolution with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It runs on Android 13 with OriginOS 3.0 skin on top. The variant iQoo Z8 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, whereas the iQoo Z8x variant is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.

Both variants carry the same body design whereas the dual rear camera unit in the iQoo Z8 carries a 64-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The iQoo Z8x variant carries a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS support and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. iQoo Z8 provides a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor. On the other hand, iQoo Z8x has an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor which also can be used for video conferencing.

Talking about the connectivity it includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, USB Type-C wired connectivity, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The company provided a side-mounted fingerprint sensor including the face unlock.

On the battery backup front, iQoo Z8 is packed with a 5,000mAh battery and also supports 120W wired Ultra-Flash Charging. And the iQoo Z8x carries a massive 6,000mAh battery with 44W wired flash charging.

Both the variants have almost the same design and weight, whereas the iQoo Z8 weighs 200 grams and measures (164.58 x 75.80 x 8.79)mm in size. The iQoo Z8x weighs 199.6 grams and measures (164.63 x 75.80 x 9.10)mm in dimension.
