Realme is about to launch a new smartphone with a periscope zoom camera in India. Realme has hinted at this new technology in their camera sensor on social media. Rumors are flading all over social media that Realme 12 Pro+ may feature a periscope zoom camera sensor with great specs and capability.
The company dropped a teaser that screams "No Periscope. No Flagship." Translation? Expect some serious optical zoom magic. The teaser image gives us a sneak peek at the back of the device, complete with a mysterious ring.
No confirmation on the name yet, but some of the posts on X.xom suggest it could be the Realme 12 Pro+, the successor of the Realme 11 Pro+.
An X.com user Abhishek Yadav username (@yabhishekhd) has reposted the teaser and some more knowledge about this phone. According to him, the Realme 12 Pro+ is set to make a grand entrance either by the end of January or in February 2024.
The Realme 12 Pro+ may have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chipset, possibly it could be a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC processor.
The most highlighting thing is the camera of this device, it carries a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom.
The company may give a price tag of around CNY 2,000 (approximately Rs. 23,000 in India).
Many rumors are that the Realme 12 Pro Plus might come with the Realme 12 and Realme 12 Pro.
Whereas the previous Realme 11 Pro+ is priced at Rs. 27,999 which runs on Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 skin on top. It carries a massive 5,000mAh battery pack. It features a 200-megapixel triple rear camera setup which is huge in number of MegaPixel count.
