Honor X50 GT 5G with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,920Hz PWM dimming rate

Honor launched a new smartphone Honor X50 GT in China on 4th January 2024. This phone carries a unique design and a circular camera module setup at the back. It comes with a curved display which gives a premium look to this smartphone.
The overall look of this smartphone is pretty good but as of now, the phone is only available in China. We have no clue when this phone will be launched in India. Yet the company has not made any official announcement about the launch globally or in India. As the company will update about this phone I will write a new article about it.

Honor X50 GT price in India and variant options

Honor has set the starting price at CNY 2,199 in China which comes approximately Rs. 25,600 in India for its 12GB + 256GB storage variant option. If you are interested in the 16GB + 256GB storage option then you have to pay CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs. 27,900), for 16GB + 512GB pay CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 30,200), and for 16GB + 1TB pay CNY 2,899 (approximately Rs. 33,700 in India). If these models will arrive in India with the same price tag then it would be correct, but these prices are just for estimate.

The company will start its pre-orders and sales in China on 9th January 2024 via its official website. The phone will be available in Fantasy Night Black and Silver Winged God of War colour options.

Honor X50 GT specification and features

Honor X50 GT runs Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 skin and gets a huge 6.78-inch 1.5K curved OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth operations. The display has a PWM dimming rate of 1,920Hz which ensures your eye's comfort. The screen also supports HDR10 which enhances the viewing experience.

The device has an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC chipset including Adreno 730 GPU for seamless gaming.

The phone features a dual rear camera setup where a 108-megapixel Samsung HM6 main sensor with a 2-megapixel depth sensor is aligned to capture the best photos of yours, it also includes an 8-megapixel front camera sensor.

It includes all the latest connectivity options like 5G connectivity, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS connectivity. It also includes an in-display fingerprint scanner sensor to enhance the phone's security.

The company has provided a massive 5,800mAh battery pack with 35W wired fast charging.

It weighs 192g, and the device is not much lightweight with dimensions of 163.6mm x 75.5mm x 7.98mm.
