Realme 12 Pro 5G series is going to launch in India this month

The news is now officially confirmed that the Realme 12 Pro 5G series is going to launch in India this month on 29th January 2024. The lineup is likely to include the Realme 12 Pro and a Realme 12 Pro+ models, these models are upgraded versions of the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+. The company has posted hints about the upcoming handsets. We've even got a photo of the design of this smartphone and colour option. This all-new design with a quad rear camera setup looks very premium and the blue colour enhances the overall look.

In a press statement, the company confirmed that the Realme 12 Pro 5G series is going to launch in India on January 29 at 12 pm IST, this is the confirmed date by the company. One of the models in this lineup will feature a periscope telephoto camera sensor, likely in the Pro+ variant model. Recently we got various leaks of this circular camera module design with a golden dial
which is placed at the top center of the back panel. The highlighting colour option in this smartphone is the Submarine Blue colour option. The company has also tested this colour on its teaser web page.

Leaks suggest that the Realme 12 Pro model could come in Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue colour options. The models get 12GB + 256GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB internal storage variant. The Realme 12 Pro+ model may offer in Red shade colour option. The high-end model will be offered with 8GB RAM coupled with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

The Realme 12 Pro model will feature 6.7-inch curved-edge full-HD+ AMOLED panels with 120Hz refresh rate display. They may run on the latest Android 14-based Realme UI 5 skin. From a security point of view, these smartphone features in-display fingerprint sensors.

The upcoming Realme 12 Pro series is confirmed that the camera module will carry a primary 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. The Pro model will have a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, whereas the Pro+ version is expected to feature an OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom support. The Realme 12 Pro+ will also have a 6x lossless zoom and a 120x digital zoom camera lens. Talking about the selfie camera, the Realme 12 Pro carries a 16-megapixel camera sensor and the Realme 12 Pro+ carries a 32-megapixel camera sensor.

Taking about the possessor, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset is given in the Pro model, and the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC chipset is placed in the Pro Plus model. In battery backup terms both models carry a 5,000mAh battery pack with 67W wired fast charging technology.
