Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic with personalized fitness coach

Samsung has now revealed its new smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series in its Galaxy Unpacked event. This Watch 6 series is an upgrade of the Watch 5 series we are very familiar with this lineup by the company. This upcoming Watch 6 series carries two models Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6. These Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 models come with thinner bezels that bring a premium look to these watches.

The Galaxy Watch 6 is available in two sizes 40mm and 44mm dials and both sizes carry Bluetooth and LTE. Whereas Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is available in 43mm and 47mm dial sizes with the same Bluetooth and LTE support.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic price in India, and variant options

The company has started the pricing from USD 299 which comes to around Rs. 24,500 in India for Samsung Galaxy Watch 6. Whereas the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic variant starts at USD 399, around Rs. 32,700 in India. The company started the pre-orders on July 26. The watch will be available for purchase on August 11.

The company has increased the performance of the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series smartwatches with an in-house Exynos W930 SoC chipset processor which is supported by 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. These watches get the best premium Sapphire Crystal AMOLED display panels with the Always-On-Display (AOD) feature. The Watch 6 comes in different sizes were 40mm base model has a 1.3-inch screen, On the other hand, 44mm size has a 1.5-inch display. Where the Watch 6 Classic of 43mm dail has a 1.3-inch display and 47mm has a 1.5-inch display. They run Google's Wear OS-based One UI 5 Watch with compatibility with Android 10 and above

These watches have all the premium features that a smartwatch is made for, it gets fitness trackers like heart rate, oxygen, and sleep monitoring. In addition, the company has introduced a sleep coaching feature in the latest Galaxy Watch 6 series that helps in getting perfect sleep by giving proper guidance and instructions. You can also get your personalized fitness coach who will calculate heart rate and other fitness needs.

The AFib monitors check irregular in your heart rhythm which can suggest a health emergency before the critical conditions. Both the watch models can also monitor blood pressure and menstrual cycle prediction which helps you a lot.

The company has highlighted LTE, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 2, NFC, and GPS connectivity features in these smartwatches. Both the models come with 5ATM and IP68 ratings which means you can carry these watches underwater.

On the battery backup side, the Watch 6 varies with dial sizes where 40mm and 44mm come in 300mAh and 400mAh battery pack respectively. On the other hand, 43mm and 47mm of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic comes in 300mAh and 400mAh battery pack respectively. All the models carry WPC-based wireless fast charging support. The company claims up to 30 hours of battery life with the AOD feature enabled and up to 40 hours without the AOD feature.
