Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro with 120Hz refresh rate display, 50W wireless charging

The Chinese smartphone manufacturing company Vivo is about to launch its new smartphone series named Vivo X90 series in India on 26th April 2023. The launch date is now officially confirmed by the coampany for this new flagship Android phone. is set to launch in India soon. The smartphone is already launched in China last year in November month. In China, the company has launched three variant options Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro+. The company also launched this series globally in February this year which only includes the base and the Pro variants.

Vivo X90 series expected price in India and variant options

Vico has not yet declared the exact pricing of these series for India or the variants in this lineup. On the other hand, the company has launched two models in the global market whereas the base variant Vivo X90 is priced at MYR 3,699 which comes to approximately Rs. 71,600 in India for a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option. And the second Pro variant comes at MYR 4,999 which comes to approximately Rs. 96,800 in India for 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage.

Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro expected specification and features in India

The Vivo X90 series smartphone will run on the latest Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13 skin on top. The Chinese and the global variant supports dual-SIM cards (Nano) slot so we are expecting the company will follow the same specs and features in the Indian version also. The base variant carries a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate display. The display has 1,260x 2,800 pixels of resolution. Whereas the Pro variant features a curved AMOLED display with the same display size, refresh rate, and resolution.

Both the models will be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 9200 chipsets built on a 4nm octa-core framework. The company has given it an in-house V2 chip that improves image processing and provides the best photos from these phones.

Vivo X90 carries a triple rear camera module where the primary camera is of 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 sensor, the second 12-megapixel 50mm portrait lens, and the third 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. It also carries a 32-megapixel selfie camera in a punch-hole at the top center of the display.

The Vivo X90 Pro comes with the same module but carries different sensors where the primary sensor is of 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor, the second 50-megapixel 50mm IMX758 sensor, and the last 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with an IMX663 sensor. It carries the same selfie camera with the same design compared to Vivo X90

Both variants have 5G (SA/ NSA) connectivity options, 4G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS. The base model has carried 4,810mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The Pro variant carries a 4,870mAh battery which is slightly bigger with the same 120W fast charging, but the Pro model also has 50W wireless charging support.
