Vivo has finally launched a teaser which suggests the launch of the Vivo X100 series smartphone in India soon. The Vivo X100 series carries two models Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro in this series of 2024. Vivo has published a dedicated page on its official company website for all Indians. Both the models carry latest MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC chipset. These phones have already been launched in China this year in November. As we are talking about the company Vivo's smartphone which is famous for its cameras, these models also have a main highlighting on its triple camera setup at the back which includes a 50-megapixel 1-inch-type primary camera.
On X post, Vivo has verified that the Vivo X100 series will launch soon in India. The Indian variants of Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro are assured to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC chipset, Zeiss-branded triple rear camera units, V3 imaging chip, and 8T LTPO display which is awesome in viewing experience. Yet, the company has not revealed the exact launch date but we are expecting some to be published by officials.
Vivo X100 series price in India, and variant options
The same phone in Hong Kong is priced at HK$7,998 which comes to approximately Rs. 85,224 in India for Vivo X100 and HK$5,998 which comes to approximately Rs. 63,917 for Vivo X100 Pro.
On the other hand in China Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro were launched at CNY 4,999 (around Rs. 56,500 in India) and CNY 3,999 (around Rs. 50,000 in India), respectively.
Vivo X100 series specifications and features
We have already talked about the specs and features of the Vivo X100 series in our past articles, but the company has now confirmed the specs like both phones run on Android 14-based OriginOS 4 skin on top. Both the models feature curved 6.78-inch 8 LTPO AMOLED displays with up to 120Hz refresh rate screen for smooth gaming. Both X100 and X100 Pro run on MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC chipset which is connected with Vivo's V3 chip that enhances the overall performance. They feature a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera module where a 50-megapixel 1-inch-type primary camera is setup with an LED flash.
The phone carries different battery packs whereas X100 is packed with a 5,000mAh battery including 120W fast charging. Whereas the X100 Pro model carries a 5,400mAh battery pack with 100W charging and 50W wireless charging technology.
