Redmi 12C budget-friendly smartphone with a 60Hz refresh rate display

The budget-friendly smartphone by the subsidiary brand of Xiaomi is here, Redmi 12C is now been has been launched in India. A few days back the company launched its new Redmi Note 12 4G in India as the most affordable smartphone in the market. The company is trying its best to capture all the segments of the budget smartphone line in the Indian market by providing their phone at every price segment of under 20k.

Redmi 12C price in India and variant option

The company has set its starting price at Rs 8,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is also known as the base variant. The second variant is priced at Rs 10,999 that comes with a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration option.
The Redmi 12C is available in four colours options Matte Black, Mint Green, Royal Blue, and Lavender Purple.

The company starts its sale on April 6 at noon via Flipkart, Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and all retail stores.

The sub-brand of Xiaomi, Redmi has introduced its Redmi 12 C with the Android 12 operating system where MIUI 13 skin is placed on the top. This smartphone comes with a 6.71-inch HD+ LCD with a 60Hz refresh rate. Whereas the display has a 1,600×720 pixel resolution by 20:9 aspect ratio. The display also has a water-drop notch for the selfie camera.

It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC chipset that is good for this type of budget smartphone. And the users can upgrade the storage up to 1TB via a microSD card slot that awesome.
It also comes with an IP52 rating for resistance to water splashes proof rating.

Taking its connectivity it includes all the common features that a budget segment has like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro-USB port. The handset also includes an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, an accelerometer, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The company features a dual camera setup at the back whereas a primary 50-megapixel camera and the secondary 2-megapixel camera, it carries a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

This smartphone carries a massive 5,000mAh battery pack that also supports 10W wired charging.

The design of the phone is good compared to its pricing with its weight of 192 grams and 168.76 x 76.41 x 8.77 in dimension.
