Vivo V29 Lite 5G with a 300Hz touch sampling rate, 120Hz refresh rate

The Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is all set to introduce its latest smartphone, the Vivo V29 Lite 5G, in the Czech Republic. This new smartphone boasts an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate capable of delivering a smooth gaming experience. It is powered by a Snapdragon 695 SoC, accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Vivo V29 Lite 5G sports a triple rear camera setup, led by a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The device carries a curved edge display with a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout that gives the most premium look.

Regarding pricing, Vivo's official website in the Czech Republic has not provided specific details. However, according to a press release, But Vivo V29 Lite 5G is expected to be available at CZK 8,499 which comes to approximately Rs. 32,000 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant option. The company has scheduled a sale from June 15 which offers Dark Black and Summer Gold color options with this Vivo V29 Lite 5G, along with a two-year warranty from the company. Information about the Vivo V29 Lite 5G's launch in India and other global markets has yet not been announced by Vivo officials.

Moving on to specifications, the Vivo V29 Lite 5G runs on Funtouch OS 13 skin on the top which is based on the latest Android 13. The device features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 2160Hz Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) eye protection that is suitable for long gaming sessions. The curved display has a 20:9 aspect ratio with 1,300 nits of max brightness and a DCI-P3 color gamut. Under the hood, it is equipped Snapdragon 695 SoC chipset.

In terms of photography, the Vivo V29 Lite 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup where a 64-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support, a 2-megapixel bokeh lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16-megapixel sensor located at the front in a hole-punch cutout.

It features an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure authentication. It carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, meaning this device can work in little rain. It is powered by a 5,000mAh massive battery that supports 44W fast charging.
