Vivo G2 with a 90Hz refresh rate display for smooth and immersive viewing experience

Vivo has launched a new smartphone Vivo G2 in China in a budget segment. The phone comes with affordable pricing which features good specifications and features at this pricing. The phone carries MediaTek's Dimensity 6020 chipset processor which is a decent processor at this price. Yet the company has only launched this smartphone in China, and as of now, the company officials have not made any announcement about the launch of this device in Indian markets.

Vivo G2 price in China and variant options

The company has set the starting price of Vivo G2 at CNY 1,199 in China which comes to around Rs. 14,000 in India for 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For 6GB+128GB you have to pay CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,500) and the 8GB+128GB variants option is priced at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 18,700 in India).

The company has also introduced the high-end version of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage at CNY 1,899 (approximately Rs. 22,200). As of now, the company has launched the phone in a single Space Black colour option.

Vivo G2 features a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate display for a smooth and immersive viewing experience. The display has 720x1,612 pixels of resolution and the screen covers almost 89.67 percent screen-to-body ratio, you get more screen and less bezel. The phone features a 7nm Dimensity 6020 chipset, which is coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

The phone carries a dual rear camera setup where a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture, perfect for those who want to capture happy moments. And for all your selfie needs, it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.8 aperture.

It also comes with connectivity options including 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. And to ensure a seamless user experience it includes sensors like an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and a flicker sensor. For added security, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

It carries a 5,000mAh battery pack with 15W charging support. The design has a perfect body with a plastic frame, The Vivo G2 measures just 165.74x75.43x8.09mm and weighs 186g only.
